ALL DIRECT BOOKINGS (By phone or Website) ARE NON-REFUNDABLE 14 days prior to arrival with NO exceptions – we recommend taking out Travel Insurance to cover for unexpected eventualities that might cause you to cancel, you must do this yourself. Bookings made through OTA’s are 30 Days
Check In & Check Out
Check in is from 2pm for book direct guests or 3pm for those coming via the online travel agencies until– 7pm on the day of arrival.
Check out is 10.30 am.
Subject to availability – Early check in can be arranged at a charge of £20 per room for 12 pm check in and includes parking on the car park. Later check out can be arranged charge of £20 per room allowing you to check out at 12.30 pm. For both please give at least 24 hours notice.
Early Parking can be purchased from £10 – please contact the B&B for details
Pets & Children
We currently do not accept pets. Well behaved children are welcome, maximum age in the family rooms is 12. The reason for this is down to the sizes of the rooms and your comfort.
Please be aware we are a non smoking property. We DO NOT permit smoking in the rooms, directly outside the property or car park. Evidence of guests doing so (including smell old or new) will be subject to a £250 cleaning fee and your card may be charged after departure.
CCTV is in 24 hour use. If you are a smoker please consider other properties better catered to meet your needs.
Takeaways & Damage
We do not allow takeaways of any kind in our rooms.
The reason for this is historical damage in the bedrooms to furniture and bed linen caused by staining from takeaways which has run into hundreds of pounds. As we are a small, post pandemic business and want to keep the place nice and comfortable for all our guests. It is important you choose the right property to meet your needs and there are other properties locally that have facilities for takeaways. We do offer winter weekend evening meals and there are a lot cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance that offer great food.
Guests found to have eaten a takeaway in the rooms including smell may be subject to a £250 cleaning fee and your card could be charged after departure.
Any damage found to have occurred unreported to staff at the Sea Croft maybe subject to charges of the full replacement value. Reported damage will be assessed on a case by case basis. Your card may be charged after departure.
Lost Keys & Property Use
Due to the nature of the building and insurance, should you not be able to return your key there will be a £150 charge. This is due to not just having to replace the room key but both security locks on the outer doors and copies of the external keys for the other rooms. Any damage done will be charged at the full replacement value. Charges may occur after departure.
