Seen The Sea Croft on The Hotel Inspector? Here’s what happened next
When Alex Polizzi and the Hotel Inspector team visited The Sea Croft, we had no idea quite how much the experience would stay with us.
Alex was lovely, and we learned a great deal from her visit. It gave us fresh ideas about running the business and made us think more carefully about how guests discover places to stay, what information they need and how we present The Sea Croft online.

From The Hotel Inspector to digital marketing
The programme sparked an interest in digital marketing that has grown into a new direction for us. What began with wanting to help more people find The Sea Croft led us to learn about websites, search, social media and online marketing — and eventually to build a digital marketing business of our own.
It’s been quite a journey, and it all began with welcoming the Hotel Inspector to our little corner of St Annes.
A place with a long history
The Sea Croft has been used for accommodation for at least 92 years. We know it was once run by a Mrs Boswell and, as far as we’ve been able to establish, it is probably the longest-running B&B in the area.
We’re proud to continue that story as a family-run bed and breakfast, welcoming guests to St Annes today.
Come and stay
The Sea Croft is close to the beach, promenade and town centre, with free parking for guests and a choice of rooms. It’s a welcoming base for a seaside break, whether you’re returning after seeing us on television or discovering us for the first time.
