1. Plan Your Transport and Parking in Advance
Lytham Festival gets busy, and parking is strictly controlled in the town. Only use the Official Event Car Parks, which must be pre-booked—on-street parking is for residents only and is strictly enforced. To avoid stress, consider using the festival’s shuttle buses, park & ride, or public transport. Arrive early to soak up the atmosphere and avoid last-minute rushes
Lytham Festival Official Car Park (Lytham Green)
Location: Lytham Green, Central Beach, Lytham FY8 5LB
Details: The main festival car park is located right next to the event site. Must be pre-booked. Closest and most convenient for direct access.
Details: About a 10–15 minute walk to the festival site. A good option if the main car park is full.
Lytham Station Car Park
Location: Station Square, Lytham FY8 5PA
Details: Close to the town centre and a 10-minute walk to the festival. Ideal if you’re arriving by train or want to explore the town before the event.
Lowther Gardens Car Park
Location: Lowther Terrace, Lytham FY8 5QG
Details: Near Lowther Pavilion and about a 15-minute walk to the festival. Offers easy access to gardens and the promenade as well.
Saltcotes Road Car Park
Location: Saltcotes Road, Lytham FY8 4LS
Details: Slightly further out (about a 15–20 minute walk) but often has more availability, especially for later arrivals.
Bonus Tip
If you’d prefer not to drive, take advantage of the festival’s shuttle bus service or use public transport (train to Lytham Station or buses into the town centre).Remember:

Here are 5 essentials not to forget when dressing for the British weather at Lytham Festival:

Lytham Festival is committed to being accessible for all. There are accessible tickets for wheelchair users, those who are deaf or hard of hearing, and more. All shows are BSL interpreted, and there are accessible toilets and welfare support on site. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and prams/pushchairs aren’t permitted, so plan accordingly
