Let us share a little about ourselves. In July 2015, we took a leap of faith, leaving our careers in teaching and Health, Safety, and Environment behind to pursue a dream of running our own business. Some may call us crazy, and our parents certainly had their doubts. However, with Georgina’s family background in hospitality, owning hotels on the Fylde coast for over 2 decades, we had a solid foundation to build upon.
The Sea Croft presented itself as a challenging yet fulfilling endeavour. Restoring an old building like this required dedication and commitment, both to the interior décor and the exterior. We poured our hearts and souls into this project, ensuring that every corner exudes comfort and elegance.
Originally built as a gentlemen’s residence in the early 1900s, it transformed into a beloved seaside boarding house in the 1930s. Over the years, it’s been carefully developed into the beautiful en-suite guest rooms you see today.
We won’t deny that the journey had its bumps and hurdles. As seasoned hoteliers warned us, the path to success resembles a “J curve” – an initial uphill battle before reaching greater heights. Our determination to improve and provide an exceptional experience kept us going. We are proud to say that in the 7 and a half years we’ve been here, we have refurbished the majority of our rooms and bathrooms, with your needs as our guiding force.

Renowned for our outstanding service, mouth-watering breakfasts, and meticulous attention to cleanliness and detail, we strive to deliver the experience we would want as guests ourselves. When you stay with us, you’ll find modern and stylish rooms with comfortable beds that instantly make you feel at home. We’ve also taken care of the practicalities, ensuring high-speed Wi-Fi reaching speeds of around 700MPS and providing spacious desks in our larger rooms, perfect for business guests looking for a productive “workcation.”

Breakfast Room & Lounge Bar
Our Breakfast room is very versatile and can sit up to 20 people for breakfast and the capacity can be increased for special occasions.
It also doubles as a meeting room for 12+ with a breakout area behind in the lounge. As the breakfast room and lounge bar are combined, this means we have the flexibility to also host parties, catering to your bespoke needs. This includes evening meal and party menus. The benefit is your event is private and can be combined with accommodation for an inclusive package. Please contact us direct for details. Examples include Christmas Parties, Wakes, Theme Nights, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christenings and small Wedding Parties looking for either a mini moon or intimate setting for their wedding breakfast.
We have a fully licensed bar and stock a small range of wines, beers and spirits. This means if you are looking to add a little romance to your ‘staycation’ we can source and supply fizz according to your budget and have it ready on ice in your room for when you arrive. If there is something you like, just tell us and we will do our best to get it for you.
Finally, (and this is our favourite) we offer Afternoon Teas and Prosecco Afternoon Teas that reflect the season with home bakes scones and cakes with lashings of Mr Bearman’s home made jam. This can be booked direct through our website.
